Throwing up can be a moment that makes you feel sick; not only because of the unpleasant feeling in stomach but also the icky taste right after vomit. No one likes that feeling and that taste, isn’t?
Throwing up is expulsion of the stomach’s contents. It is associated with a nausea feeling and strong contraction of abdominal muscle. Well, most of women experience throwing up that caused by many things. Some of the possible causes are:
- Drinking too much
- Early pregnancy
- Anxiety and stress
- Period time and many more.
However, most common why girl throwing up are period time, early pregnancy and anxiety or stress. Many girls find they throw up, just before or sometimes during their periods. It caused by the hormone changes that lead to menstrual cramp. And, it comes and goes usually in a day or two. How to stop throwing up that triggered by menstrual cramps, some girl ‘asking help’ heating pads, anti-inflammatory or birth control pills. Or, fill the stomach with eating food in smaller portion frequently.

Early pregnancy also can make girl throwing up. Most characteristic sign of early pregnancy is nausea, which also referred to as morning sickness. The feeling of nausea and throwing up are common symptoms at 3 months (first trimester) pregnancy. However, the cause of unpleasant in the stomach triggered by the changes of biochemical or estrogen levels during the pregnancy. To prevent throw up do this:
- Eat smaller meals frequently through the day
- Pick stomach-friendly food, such yogurt
- Avoid spicy and greasy food
